 Midnight's Messages

By Kameko Ogg

Pure.
Unadultered.
A space, void of disdain,
Yet flooded with empathy,
For that which is undeniable beauty.
Bright.
Firey smiles etched against the pitch eternal,
As arrows reaching towards morning,
Screaming an unwritten text,
Of now and yesterday,
Then silence.
Whispers.
A welcome melody,
Mourning the passing of unknown art,
Captured only in the memories of a friend,
Who may voice
The echos of such fading truths.

Wow.

Just wow. Beautiful metaphors and use of fragments and single words. Good vocabulary, too.
